Photoshoot from A-Z

A very intense workshop/seminar with the whole workflow for a successful model/fashion/glamour photoshoot from A-Z. We will talk about :
Preparation: Planning the shoot, how to find the right model for a shoot, how to discuss the looks before the photoshoot, how to prepare the model for the shoot
The shoot day: What goes into the styling and makeup, how to find the right background for the look, how to setup (meter and find) the light, how to coach the model, how to make it a bit more interesting.
The retouching: The complete rundown from selecting the images in Lightroom, tagging the images and finally retouching the images in Photoshop.
The sharing: The need to share, how to work with social media, which media for what. The workshop will start with a group discussion about the preparations and ways to approach this per situation
During the day we will shoot 3-4 sets to create different looks and tackle different problems. In my opinion this is one of the most complete workflow/photoshoot workshops on the market today. To get this all into one day we decided to make this a full day “look/listen/ask questions” workshop, meaning there will be no students shooting, simply because that would take way too much time away from the teaching. Because there is no time for the students to shoot we can also fit more people in the group which means we can keep the price really low.

Filming for the photographer

Workshop themes and compositing

Workshop with a theme.
With one of our models the group will work as a team to make a professional photoshoot suitable for portfolio use. The main focus in the theory is about putting it all together and improving your images from street to model photography, in the photoshoot there will be setup especially made for compositing, at the end of the photo shoot, there will be a demonstration on how to make the composite work in Photoshop. There is more than enough room for questions and group discussions. this workshop is heavily based on the use of Photoshop.
Workshop working on location

In this workshop the theory part is based on working on location, after this everything is possible.
The group of students will steer this workshop the direction they want, from advanced posing techniques to special themes.
This is the workshop were all others will stop. If the weather is dry part of this workshop will take place outside.

Working outside, using natural light and strobes, mixing lightsources, using measuring techniques to change intensity/color of skies
How to use the sides of the light to find the perfect lightplacement, day to night, working with color filters, lots of tips on equiptment you really need.
Workshop Glamour

Not the standard topless photoshoots but how to work with tension, posing and what to see and what not to see techniques.
A very good knowledge of studio flash and the use of metering is necessary, preferable workshop I or II and III
